Just recently, you guys know I became soooo obsessed with Estee Lauder to the point that even my husband got so addicted to it as well. 😄 I mean.. he hates skincare for crying out loud! Oh c’mon! May kahati tuloy ako 😅
Just recently, I won in their #iLoveANR contest – I am so proud to win this time around. I find ways and do my best to win a contest everytime I join and I’m so thankful to God for giving me this surprise blessing.
One of the best toners I’ve tried (I’m allergic to toners). From its lightweight feeling to its glowing and nurturing effect – my husband’s favorite skincare product (he doesn’t know yet). This is already perfect as it is! It leaves his skin extra-glowing and firm (his skin showed better results than mine 🙄).
It is an airy foam that purifies the skin, removes makeup and pollution. It feels light on the skin that doesn’t leave your skin oily or dry. It purifies your skin without the need of double cleansing.
Let me start by telling you guys that I don’t use eye masks – which means this isn’t something I am fond of.. so technically I was so hesitant to use this. Also, aside from hormonal acne, one of my problems is eyebags. So this product is really a timely gift.
Prepping it is easy and can be done in less than a minute. I love that there’s a generous amount of serum inside the pack that is enough to use for your eyes then whole face and body. I tried wearing it while sleeping and while I’m awake – I can’t sleep with the mask on so I prefer wearing the masks when I’m awake.
This is the 2nd time I used it and at first I already know I had good results. I am so in denial so I tried it again after a week!
Yes the eyebags are gone. My eyes are more awake and lifted. Eyes look more radiant and plump.
It only lasts for a day or so.. after a couple of days.. you are back to the old you. So yes I must say it really helps in making your eyes look young and renewed.. but if you have a budget and cannot use this DAILY, you are in for a great loss because chances are.. your eyes need more pampering than usual.
I just can’t afford a daily mask in terms of time and budget. I think it’s unnecessary given my circumstance that I have hypothyroidism and tends to have eyebags due to my hormonal imbalance. And so.. I decided to use this ONLY when I have BIG EVENTS.. like a ZOOM MEETING per se? 😄
Now let’s move on to their makeups. Estee Lauder is not just known for skincare and fragrance, they’re also known for makeup!
Because of Make Up For Ever, I had trauma in using lip serums due to its foul scent and stickiness. But this serum is life changing. I can use it as a lip primer too. I love that it is lightweight, not sticky and no scent. The applicator is soft and relaxing as well. Love everything about it.
It treats my lips in no time without making it feel thick or sticky. Once you try this, you’ll never have dry lips ever again! It’s best to use as a primer to prep your lips for the most drying lipstick but it cannot optimize the color or the longevity of the lipstick’s formula.
Speaking of primers.. let’s talk about Estee Lauder primers shall we? Do you know that they have primers? I DON’T!
Again, these primers are so underrated. I love them so much! Illuminating primer feels a bit thicker and looks more radiant than Matte but Illuminating primer lasts longer than matte. I prefer Illuminating primer simply because it complements the Double Wear foundation which has a super heavy and drying matte formula.
Illuminating primer also makes your skin extra radiant so be careful not to pair it with another glowing/illuminating foundation or you’ll end up looking like this one. The matte primer is the best option for this look.
For those who want to hide imperfection and want to diffuse pores in a non-sticky and smoother way, this is the primer for you!
Do you hate glow? You don’t like having a flat face? Alright, so you just want to have a flawless younger looking skin, right? Then the SMOOTHER PRIMER is perfect for you!
I loooove the Illuminating primer but the Smoothing primer made me think twice. I mean the Smoothing primer works in any kind of foundation and even in ANY season; whereas the Illuminating primer doesn’t work well when worn during summer or if paired with a glow/radiant foundation. Your choice.. but either way ALL their primers work really well!
Their Radiating Primer (no photo). I love how lightweight (with universal tint) and perfect it is, just like the Illuminating primer but it is more focused on the glow instead of the highlight (if you know what I mean). Radiating Primer has a thinner and less silky texture compared to the Illuminating and it looks good whether you pair it with glow or matte foundation. Unfortunately, it has a high spf and caused me to have a major breakout – I have to stop using it. Sigh. 🥺
I cannot describe how happy I am with this foundation. First off, I am grateful that because of Kim I was able to know that I have a cool undertone and my shade is Cool Vanilla. Thanks Kim! To know more about your perfect foundation shade, just message Kim on these platforms :
I love that this is transferproof – it really is the perfect foundation to wear while you’re wearing a mask! I am sure of this! It does not oxidize and stays true to its color. No offense to Dior but look at how dark it made my skin for the past years I used the Capture Totale foundation.
In reality, this was my color last year without makeup on. Now that I’m taking collagen and using better skincare products, my skin became fairer!
It has SPF 10 so I can tolerate it and definitely NO FLASHBACK! It is waterproof so no worries about sweat or having this on while exercising or swimming – I am sure of this. It covers ANYTHING on your body (even your darkest secrets choosss! 😂) Just apply and forget about it. That’s how it is!
My only complain is that it doesn’t have skincare and it feels so dry when you use the wrong primer. Just use the perfect primer and prep your skin before using it or you’ll look dry and older. Also, be careful to “accidentally” apply it on your clothes for it is so hard to remove it. I’m also not a fan of its scent.
It is like having an Estee Lauder Double Wear in a different packaging with a formula thicker than usual. It doesn’t crease and it covers flaws very well without making it cakey. Definitely buildable, I love its lightweight yet creamy formula.
This powder is thin and sifted so well that it leaves your skin sheer and natural-looking. The powder as it is feels like satin when applied, hiding your pores and imperfection afterwards.
It is NOT A SETTING POWDER (like what I discussed here). It is just a loose powder — and that is why sweat and humidity leave your makeup sticky, cakey and uneven. I tried using a different primer and foundation – it looks great at first but then you’ll be surprised how your makeup looks a bit messy after hours. Worse part is there’s a flash back (at times) probably because of its light shimmer. It also made my skintone uneven despite its translucent color. 😔
Loose powder is perfect for those who have oily skin and love to bake; but I don’t bake (because of asthma attacks) and I am stingy like that when it comes to makeup 😂 I don’t want to put A LOT on my face.
I want to like the product because of how perfect my makeup looks like after application but after hours with this powder on, I look so oily with bigger pores and cakey makeup. Soooo… 😪 but then.. this is not a bad product. I love it as a whole.. it just does not suit me best!
Either way.. I love Estee Lauder as a whole. It saved my skin and now my makeup looks. Thankful to have a chance to try it. What is your favorite so far? This brand is so underrated — you guys should know more about these products and try all of them!
