Recently, I blogged about this collection and had a giveaway of my 2nd MAC @mainedcm matte lipstick. Now we will talk about the MAC Lipglass.
It is a pure bloody red in a pigmented formula. It is lightweight and not as sticky as the other MAC lipglasses formula I’ve tried.
Its applicator is soft on the lips and fool-proof. It is not messy to use neither does it have a weird smell. Packaging is nice and unique because of its golden handle.
Probably the best red lipgloss I’ve ever worn.. not just because of Maine Mendoza but because of the formula and its pigment that is out of this world.
When worn with a vampy burgundy red, this is how it will look like. You will feel a bit of heaviness because of the matte formula. Red will look like a bit more vampy instead of a pure bloody red.
Yes, both formula are that pigmented for it to still show a watermelon pink stain. I love how hydrated my lips are and how it never dried my lips. I don’t even need a lip primer for this collection’s formula.
I love this particular collection. For 1. I support Maine. Not because I’m a fan but because she is a Filipino and represented us pretty well. 2. I love MAC and their continuous effort to give us excellent-quality products. Just lately, I gave away tons of Jeffree Star lipsticks after noticing that their formula gets worse as it gets old. MAC, on the other hand, ages with grace. Super love their lipsticks!

As they say red lippies make us sexy and I believe it’s true. I’m not really into red lipstick but sometimes I wear it, para maiba naman. Nakakaumay na din po kapag brown, pink or nude eh.
