OOTD : Summer Barbie

Hi everyone! For this week’s look, I wore a summery dress that I’m supposed to wear for a lovely vacation this year.. but COVID19 happened 🤧😵🥴

I’m not supposed to wear this yet but I saw Heart E wearing it last week.. so here I am!

I saw this launched online a few days before quarantine started. I never thought I can still get one.. so happy to finally buy one.

Packaging isn’t that special. It looks exactly like my MAC Maker Maine lipstick.. but I loooove the formula and color.

It looks exactly like what Barbie the doll wears❣ It doesn’t dry my lips and I love that the color looks so good on me – not pale nor loud. I paired it with Patrick Starrr lip pencil

I really love this shade. It reminds me of my old MAC Unlimited lipstick – only difference is this is MATTE.

Almost same shade right? The difference is its creamy texture and ability to last longer. MAC Barbie is more matte, lightweight and not drying.

Hubby bought me new brushes.. making me too excited to do my makeup again 😊 This is by far my favorite brand for brushes! No more contest – I hoarded!

I love NARS packaging .. so simple and matte.. but their formula is a hit or miss for me.

I don’t and can’t see the Orgasm blush-on may it be on swatch or on my face. I loved and unloved Nars 4 years ago. Believe me I am trying to love it back again.. but through Orgasm? I just cannot! ***pun not intended 😉🤧*** But seriously, Mark Qua and Jelly Eugenio love to use this shade for brides. I just don’t see myself wearing a light blush on. Pang putok na blush-on kasi ako teh! 😄

On the other hand, how nice is the Laguna bronzer on me? Though it is not my favorite. It didn’t beat my Bobbi Brown.. but it is okay especially for those who like shimmer on bronzers. It is not too dark.. not muddy.. just the right pakak! 😄

For so many years.. I only use waterproof mascara. For the second time, I’m gonna try a smudgeproof mascara ONLY. At first it was okay but when I had to double coat and do my lower lashes, my eyes went gaga and cried a lot. Under eye makeup became cakey and I had a lot of mascara goop. It is okay especially when you aren’t allergic with mascara and your eyes aren’t sensitive. It’s not for me because its formula (like ALL NON WATERPROOF MASCARAS) make my eyes tear and watery. Overall, this mascara is perfect for those who like length, lightweight formula and drama on their lashes.. but not for those who have sensitive eyes like mine.

Oh wow! A subtle highlighter just as I expect from Nars. I am not a subtle person which means Nars is a conflicting brand for me.. but still, I am putting an effort to see what I’m missing from the brand. I love the Multiple and I’m still honestly in the process of reviewing it in all angles.. but so far I love it!

Just like Orgasm but it has a 3D effect and it eventually turns into a powder finish. I love that it doesn’t leave me with patchy streaks.. but just a glowing highlight.

Whatever my look is.. At the end of the day, what matters most is Barbie finds her Ken.. and as long as Ken loves Barbie.. I am happy and HOME!
