OOTD : Princess

Hi everyone! It’s a cold and windy week here in the Philippines; but because I want to still look good for the weekend, I opted for a “princess” look.

Me and my friend Jai always say, “I love this dress because we look like a printeta or princess in English.” We always choose dresses that will make us look like a princess. 😅

I may not have all the fancy clothes, shoes and bags that others have.. but I am God’s princess and I have everything I need. We always think that being a princess means having a luxurious life, perfect skin, prince charming (always to the rescue) and you have the castle all by yourself. Truth be told, all of us are royal because we are the children of God.

We should be confident, even if we have that huge acne, though we are overweight (or underweight), whatever our credit score is — we are all special and a princess of God.

As God’s princess, our prince shouldn’t hurt us. Men, always remember that you are accountable to God whenever you hurt His princess. Princess, you deserve respect and love. Do not let other people put you down. You must know your value because you are redeemed by Jesus’ precious blood.

Can I pray for all the women out there?

Lord, I pray for all the princesses who are reading this post. I pray for courage to say no when things are wrong, wisdom in every decision that they will make and strength day by day. Lord, I pray that You renew their minds and remind them of their value. Heal those who are sick and bless the womb of those who want to have a baby. Give them the grace they need and always assure them of Your love. Hug all the women who are reading this Lord. To those who have been disrespected and feel down today, give them their crown back. In Jesus name, all princesses/warriors will say, AMEN.

Princess, you are beautiful and valuable. Always remember that. October is breast cancer awareness month and I want to encourage you all princesses to have your yearly checkup with your OB-gyne : pap smear, breast ultrasound and mammogram. Always value your body, princesses — that is God’s temple.
