Wave at City of Dreams Manila

At City of Dreams Manila, we just play and eat. One of our favorites all throughout these years is WAVE, a contemporary poolside deck, restaurant and bar.

Most of the time, we just order food for take out and eat inside the room, but Nobu has this romantic view and well-lit poolside area that gives a perfect appetite to munch and nibble on delightful snacks or meal.

Usually at Nuwa, we just swim for hours. At Nobu, we enjoy the sunset with snacks and drinks. Ahhhhh THIS IS LIFE!

See what I mean when I say LIFE! I live for nachos and this cute lil boy right here who celebrated his birthday when we stayed at Nobu.

Fries and Shakes 🤤🤤🤤

I love that our chairs and tables are under the tree so we definitely have a shade and though it’s breezy around 5pm, the wind is not too cold.

Bread and butter, fresh juices, and coconut mocha shake

One thing I love about them is how everything on their menu is so delectable and well-made. Like this bread, for some reason, my boys love it – and they are not really a fan of pastries. On the other hand, the coconut mocha shake IS NOT GOOD 😩

Coffee with Banana Shake

I requested this from the chef and I must say that this is one of the best I have tried. I just hope that the coffee’s ratio is more than the banana.

Truffle Fries

Nothing really special about this except for the fact that it comes with a delectable dip with tidbits of bacon. Yum!

Pizza, Nachos, Chicken Inasal

The pizza is okay, nothing really special but I just love how freshly made it is. The chicken inasal smells yummy and very tasty with its java rice. Nachos as I said is one of our favorites but the special part here is their dips and sauces. 🤤

Aglio Olio with Prawns

This is one of those dishes that is very garlicky and spicy but it is way too much that it overpowered everything. It’s like a pasta with chili and garlic with prawns, nothing more (like maybe wine). I don’t like it 👎

Pancit Bihon with Seafood, Crispy Lechon Kawali and Boiled Eggs on the Side

Here comes to save my review is their delicious pancit bihon. Oh wow! I can still remember its smell, savor and special bihon. This is by far one of my favorites from Wave and that is because of the lechon kawali, seafood and the sauce of the bihon. I love everything about it. Its aroma is the best!

In every vacation, food is just one of the things I remember the most. This is why in every hotel we visit, I take note of their food and customer service. I don’t recommend a hotel or restaurant with bad food or service. It’s a good thing Nobu has one of the best customer service and restaurants available. Can’t wait to share with you my review about Nobu.

  1. I remember visiting Grand Hyatt Manila twice whenever I pass through the City of Dreams. They share the classic and expensive scent, 🥰 but Grand Hyatt might be huge than the City of Dreams though.
