Hello everyone! I’m here to discuss about one of my favorite topics – faith. The Bible says,
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
But what does it mean to have an audacious faith? I have a lipstick from Nars named “Audacious.”
This is how it looks like. Basing on how the lipstick looks like, the definition of Audacious can be seen.
Audacious – daring, spirited, and adventurous
Audacious faith is having the “kapal ng mukha” to ask God for something that we don’t deserve. It is the ability to believe something that we haven’t seen or to experience something impossible for us to witness.
Most of the time, it is hard for us to believe and claim for the things we want and should have because of the sins we made in the past.. but audacity means having the guts to ask God something that we don’t deserve. As His sons and daughters, we all know that God always wants what is best for us; but because of our sins we feel guilty and undeserving of these things.
Will u allow the failure of the past hinder u from declaring your victory for the future?
Why should we declare faith?
1. The CREDIBILITY of God’s WORD gives us the FAITH to DECLARE.
We should always remember that His Word is credible. The Word of God is something we can use to declare and be reminded of His promises and plans in our lives.
For the word of the LORD is upright, And all His work is done in faithfulness. Psalm 33:4
2. The capability of God’s power to do the impossible fuels our faith to declare.
He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names. Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure. Psalm 147:4-5
Imagine the Creator of earth who made it out of nothing. The God who saved Moses and the Israelites from Egypt. The God who became man to die on the cross and save us from our sins. Everytime we remember that we serve an Indescribable God, we should also be reminded that there is nothing impossible with Him.
3. The certainty of God’s covenant.
For the LORD your God is a compassionate God; He will not fail you nor destroy you nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them. Deuteronomy 4:31
If we look at our present circumstance, we may lose hope and be discouraged.. but when we start trusting the God who saved and kept His promises, we will be assured that our faith won’t be in vain because we put our trust in a Covenant-Keeping God.
Your present circumstances do not decide the outcome of your future breakthrough.
Faith to Claim
We may all had the experience of claiming something — through a voucher or a gift cheque. They all have one thing in common. They have a disclaimer and an expiration date. Two things that stop us from claiming the discount and promo.. but our faith to claim that we will receive what He has promised doesn’t have a limit. We can always have faith to claim that our prayers are already answered.. trusting that whatever the answer is.. God will take care of us!
Do not consider your neighbor’s blessings to be your answered prayers too. His promise land may not be the same as yours.
Sometimes, our faith falters because our prayers are unanswered. We don’t see that it is already answered. We just keep on pushing God that the answer should be how we want the answer should be. We forget that God knows all things. We are not supposed to tell Him what to do and what to give us. He knows what’s best for us.
Faith is the ability to trust Him and obey what He says – even if it doesn’t make sense to us.
Also, we tend to ask God for something that we shouldn’t have. We ask God for things that we envy and want to copy from our neighbors. Sometimes, God wants us to be contented and to not compare our blessings from others. It doesn’t mean that God blessed our neighbors in Japan, we’ll have our blessings there too. It doesn’t mean that your friend is now rich because of having a business, being a businessman is for you too. Seek God, listen to His answer and trust that His answer is what’s best for you. Stop comparing. God is faithful to you.. and your neighbor.. and your neighbor’s neighbor. God’s faithfulness isn’t just measured by the blessings we can count and see… but by everything we experience and saved from everyday.
Why should you let anyone criticize you when you know that God knows your value? Have faith in Him and His love for you.
Let us always remember our value. Trust God and know that He values us too. If we know our value, it will always be clear to us that God will never leave us nor forsake us.. all we have to do is ask, seek Him, and He will give us the desires of our hearts.
How can we have faith?
Hebrews 12:2 – Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith
It is only by His grace that we can have faith. If we hold on to God who gives us faith, then trusting Him is now possible. If we know the Provider, trusting Him would be easier. Learn more of Him by reading His Word and praying to Him. I dare you. Dare to believe.
Before I let you go.. Can I pray for you?
Lord, I pray for this reader. I pray that you give him the audacity to ask You what he needs. Let him be reminded to seek You always.. to understand that the answer is already there for him to claim. Cause him to read Your Word and have the desire to know you more, the Giver, instead of the gifts. I pray that You strengthen his faith and always remind him of Your love and how valuable he is to your sight. Lord, reveal more of You to this reader and may He experience that You are a Covenant-keeping God. May he realize that most of the things he asks for are already answered and may he also see that some of them are not what he needs because You have something better in store for him. Father, may this reader have a deeper relationship with You and give You glory everytime he experiences Your faithfulness. May he always see how Great You are. Thank You Lord for giving us the grace to have faith and the ability to trust You more — our Savior, our Father, our Healer, and our Provider! Bless him God! In Jesus name we pray, amen.
