OOTD : Jaipur Ft City of Dreams Manila

This dress is a part of Plains & Prints’ Pre-Fall Collection, its name is Jaipur. They used Mark Nicdao’s photos that will bring you to India; the photos will make you appreciate the beauty of this country. I’m amazed on all his photos and how Plains & Prints created a unique design that will be perfect to showcase the beautiful photos that Mark Nicdao have.

Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital, is an enthralling historical city and the gateway to India’s most flamboyant state.

I love gold! I’m a big fan of Belle’s gown from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. That is why this collection is so surreal to me. Having “gold” clothes make me really happy. I’m so thankful to Plains & Prints for giving us this wonderful Pre-Fall Collection (click here for more details). πŸ‘

Now wearing it is a challenge for me. A challenge to make sure that Mark Nicdao’s photos will stand-out and the beauty of their dresses can be seen in all my OOTDs. That is why we planned to celebrateΒ our anniversary in The Cafe at Hyatt City of Dreams Manila. Since City of Dreams Manila is already equivalent to gold (see here for more details). Hmmmm… Gold? Plains & Prints Pre-Fall Collection?Β What does it mean?

I hope I was able to give justice to how beautiful this dress is. I know I’m not your usual OOTD thin gal; but I’m here to prove that even moms with #mombods still deserve to wear a dress that is as good as this. Moms, do not forget that. Dads, make your wives feel that they are your queen in the house. Let them dress like one. πŸ‘Έ

That concludes our experience in City of Dreams and how I attempted to give you the best backdrop for Jaipur Dress. Now I wanna show you some photos I have at home. πŸ˜…

By the way, I love this dress. πŸ˜…πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚ Isn’t it obvious? I have a looooooot of photos with it. I love it so much that I wanna sleep with this on. πŸ˜€ I just love gold, the photo printed on the dress and I just happen to really love Plains & Prints (click here to check more of their designs).

For this look, I used Forever 21 and H&M’s accessories.

Eyeshadow from MAC’s newest Veluxe a Trois (click hereΒ to know more)

Advantages :

uniqueness of the color

it has a dimension of blue/grey/purple

it is not that shimmery

it can be light or smokey

wearable

the effects of the color can be different depending on the application
1st look made by Cha of MAC MEGAMALL from my previous OOTD (click here to see) – the effects of the colors can be different depending on the technique used

Disadvantages :

  • it only stays for at least 3-4 hours. color tends to be erased depending on the room temperature
  • once the eyeshadows are erased, making the same look can be a challenge
  • the eyeshadows may look sticky at times. Use a great eye primer to avoid this. I suggest Laura Mercier’s eye primer (click here to know more)
  • Filipinos might not be ready for colors as bold as these πŸ˜…

Overall, I’m happy with my look. I’m so glad to see myself wearing this fabulous dress. πŸ˜‰

Friends and followers, I might not be able to post OOTDs in the weeks to come to give time for me to rest and recover. Please continue to pray for me and my fast recovery. God bless!
