First Impression | ABH Norvina and Becca x Barbie Ferreira

Just recently I vlogged about my first impression on Anastasia Beverly Hills Vol 1 Pro Pigment Palette and I must say that it is one of the best palettes I’ve ever tried

It is a palette in different shades of purple and a variety of different colors you can use to transition, highlight and contour. I must say that creativity will be tested here and your makeup game will definitely become stronger.

Most of the shades are creamy and pigmented. There’s definitely a kickback but I didn’t experience any fall out when I wore it with my Nars eyeshadow primer.

It is housed in a huge professional-looking palette with a big mirror. I don’t mind its size, I am more concerned on the spacing of each block that makes it messy whenever there’s a kickback.

Imagine how hard it is for me to clean each grid. OC problems 🙄

After the 1-day Norvina Vol 1 experience, we immediately ordered Vol 2 for the obvious reason of having more colors in my makeup stash.

Yum right? 🤤 I know!

Though I still love everything about it, I was a bit disappointed to see shades that are so close to the ones from Vol 1. Though expected, I appreciate that the formula’s quality is consistently excellent; but I must say that Vol 1 has creamier shades with better color payoff.

I appreciate the color story on this one. It showcases the beauty of aqua and the ocean. They skip naming the shades and just named it by row A1 TO E5, giving us 25 amazing shades with a variety of formulas and pigment as expected on this collection.

On this palette, there are more buttery shades without the chalky texture. A little goes a long way with this palette. Most of the shades are unique with different undertones.

Now let’s move on to Becca x Barbie Ferreira Collection

I wasn’t really fond of liquid highlighters, I’m more into sticks. This Becca highlighter is HUGE for me to bring it everywhere I go. Hence the hesitation to buy this one.

Becca Liquid Highlighter in PASSION

I got the shade Passion as a mini from Sephora PH. It is a pale incandescent pearl that reflects gold with a cream formula. As of this writing, I do not see any review of the shade Love by Barbie Ferreira at Sephora PH and so the curiosity level arises. Plus I have no clue who Barbie is. 🤦‍♀️ Watch out for my review SOON!
