Superb Super Bowl

Super Bowl has been very special to me and my husband. Yeah! He made me fat by eating there at least every other week when we were dating. He taught me how to eat and “enjoy” Chinese food.. and I did! 😁

So when we got married and had a child, Super Bowl has been our all time favorite Chinese restaurant. My husband even had kidney stones because of the “toyo” addiction. 😂 I still remember the day I won a dish because of my “comment” card and how close we were to the managers and staffs to the point that the kropek/chips (my son’s favorite; they’re FREE by the way) went overflowing. 😁

Unfortunately, our love-hate relationship with Super Bowl happened. The furniture started to look old, we got disappointed in their service, and the food’s serving became less generous. We drop by once in awhile but we encounter the same issues continuously. We visited last October 2014 and still got disappointed.

The other day, we had an attempt again. From the outside, it already looked different so we thought everything would be different… and we were right! Everything we loved about Super Bowl was there… now even better!

Everything looked good, clean and new. Even their menu says “NEW.”

Though the ambiance is just the same, the chairs and couches are now more comfortable and everything passed on my OC-test in cleanliness. 😄

Lighting is ok and room temperature is just fine. Privacy is great. 👍

Of course, we ordered the same thing. 😃

The food and ambiance passed our standards once again but it’s their customer service that made our experience extraordinary.

Before : we have to call their attention for water and chips. Now : it’s automatic!

Before : they don’t know what food they serve. Now : servers are knowledgeable.

Before : servers don’t smile. Now : they smile almost ALL THE TIME.

Before : they don’t care where you sit. Now : they’d ask if you want to sit in the couch area.

All of them are very nice and respectful. No one’s staring while we’re eating. The taking and receiving of our orders were just right on time.

We are so happy to be in love with Super Bowl again. Even our kids love it there. I hope we won’t fall out of love to Super Bowl EVER AGAIN.

If there’s anything they need to do for us to like them even more, that is to add more options in their main dishes and desserts just like what Lugang Cafe has. We always order the same food because they have the same choices since then. Nevertheless, this experience will have a rating of 8/10. Good job Super Bowl! More of you in the months to come. 😉
