Clarins Pearl to Cream Brightening Cleanser

It is a foaming cream that leaves the skin soft, clean, and fresh after every wash. I love the squeaky clean feeling it gives me after a whole day with makeup on. It also brightens the complexion without peeling. This is perfect to those who have a combination skin and live in humid climate.

Clarins HydraQuench Cream Gel

I love how cold and refreshing it feels after applying it. I use it after putting on my Areum Radiant-C Serum (see here). Since the Areum Serum gives a warm feeling, this gel soothes the skin and leaves it hydrated and refreshed. It’s an all-day moisturizer but thinner since it’s in a gel form. Perfect to those who live in tropical climate.

Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch

Ohhh my! I thought I already used the best primer — Clarins Beauty Flash Balm (see here).. but after trying this baby, woah! It is so heartbreaking to try one of the best primers and not having the opportunity to re-purchase it. To those who don’t know yet, Clarins Philippines does not sell their make-up products here. I only got this from their Beauty Flash Balm package. Why Clarins? Why??? 😭

This is not your extraordinary primer! It acts as a “second skin” base that smoothens the skin surface to hide the pores, lines, and wrinkles. It is a combination of make-up and skin care in one. I love the thin, smooth and invisible-like texture it gives to my face. It doesn’t stop there. Clarins added Vitamin E to protect our sensitive skin. Best. Primer. Ever!!!

Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector

I was never a fan of a lip balm or a lip gloss. I hate the sticky feel and the minimum color it gives. Maybe it’s just me and my love for pigments. 😅 So the first time I saw this lip perfector, I was thinking, “Hmmm.. This is new!” It is not the usual lip gloss or balm we use. It is a lip gel with a sweet scent and a 3D shimmer. Now what is a 3D shimmer? It is a product’s way to amplify the shape of our lips and create the illusion of depth and volume to our lips. In this way, our lips will be fuller and curvaceous.

With Clarins Lip Perfector, we will experience a smooth, shiny and fuller lips in an instant. It can be used alone as a way of perfecting the lips by removing the dried and cracked area or coat it on your favorite matte lipstick to achieve the 3D lips.

In this photo, I am using Laura Mercier’s nude lipstick. Though the “3D effect” can’t be seen well in this picture, it actually looked so good in person. Clarins Lip Perfector not only hydrates… it also gives life to your usual lip stick without feeling sticky at all.

By now, you may understand why I love Clarins so much! Not just for their effective skin care products, but also for their great make-up products.
