After our great experience in Tuan Tuan, we went back here to celebrate Father’s Day with my whole family.
At first they were hesitant to eat here because the names of the food in the menu is quite intimidating; but after eating here, I know that my whole family already know why we love Tuan-Tuan.
Of course we ordered the usual dishes we had before :
My only comment in this curry is the ratio of its sauce and beef. I don’t mind paying extra just for them to add more beef so the ratio of the sauce and beef are even.
I’ll order this over and over again. This sweet, fried and soft bread is too delicious to describe. The photo cannot justify how tasty this bread is. I don’t see any reason to ignore it. If you won’t order it, you’ll miss a lot. I’m also hoping that Tuan Tuan will add more desserts in the future.

This is my personal favorite. The taste of their special curry is still there and the crisp of their shrimp is absolutely perfect! 😚
This is crispy and sweet. For you to appreciate it more, eat it while it’s still hot and crispy. 🍗
This is a so-so dish. The chicken is well cooked and it’s also crispy but the sauce lacks taste. 😳 I hope they do something about this soon.
This is the crowd favorite! The oldies loved it! The sauce is too many to the point that the rice and fish are already covered with sauce. The pechay is overcooked and the corn is very plain. I guess adding butter and salt will make the corn tastier. Maybe they can change the way of serving it too. It doesn’t look that appealing. Overall, my family still loves it. 👍
I love this dish because it’s not too salty and yet very delicious. Nothing too special about it but its simpleness made this dish extraordinary.
We weren’t able to order their iced tea and juices last time. But now, we had a chance to try their different kinds of drinks.
Honestly, it is too sweet and orangey for me. I cannot tolerate it because of my acid reflux. It comes with fresh oranges and served in mason jars that my husband truly loves. 🙊 I hope that soon Tuan-Tuan will make a drink that is not too sweet and orangey.
Since it’s Father’s Day, Tuan Tuan offered a free brewed iced tea for all fathers. 🙌
Their iced tea is not the usual lemon or red iced tea we order in different restaurants. It’s not my favorite but my husband loves it. Maybe one day, Tuan-Tuan will have a new iced tea and drinks that are not too plain nor too sweet.
These photos reminded me of the kind of iced tea we prefer. Just the right amount of sweetness with the taste that you’ll crave for. 😍
We rarely see each other that’s why special occasions like this matters most and we are grateful to Tuan Tuan for giving us a great experience.
Since we don’t see each other often, we always have a time limit. Usually 3-5 hours per meeting. That’s why we have to learn how to maximize and savor each moment. We were able to spend time well by taking a LOT of photos.
Tuan Tuan means to unite and put together. Their main objective is to put different Chinese comfort food together in one restaurant but I believe that it also meant uniting families, friends and colleagues together in one place to have fun and bond by eating and taking photos together. We successfully did it here in Tuan Tuan. Me and my family had so much fun!
They have a lot of beautiful decors that you can use for OOTDs and perfect to use as a background for a memorable photo.
In our background are the servers wearing their nice uniforms. They look very smart and formal. Don’t they?
This area is the best place to take a photo. Aside from this old phone, you can also find a lot of picture frames and decors on the walls plus a metal railing that is perfect for this kind of shot.
The green bench with a green background is also perfect for a person who’s wearing something plain.. especially when it’s red. 😻
This experience will get a 9/10 rate. We enjoyed the ambiance and privacy of Tuan-Tuan. The servers are very friendly and helpful. Though the quality of the food and drinks aren’t too perfect, I believe that there’s still room for improvement.
We want to take this opportunity to say thanks to Jam Olaes for giving his time to make sure that we’re well taken care of and to Tuan-Tuan’s manager, Jimm Ampuan. He was really friendly, patient, and nice to us. He made sure that our experience will be extraordinary. We are thankful and blessed to meet people who know the true meaning of customer service.
