‘Ride or Die’ Products to Try this 2020

Happy New Year! How are you guys? Wishing everyone the best of this year has to offer. Let us all be hopeful. This post is for everyone who is looking for something new to try this 2020. One thing I really learned last year is to try, risk and don’t afraid to grow. I hope that you do the same this year. Let’s check out my recommendations shall we?

Bodysuit with Tulle Sleeves

A swimsuit-like fit but with ribbed knit, round neck and tulle sleeves. The bottom part has a snap button closure that I thought is something uncomfortable but it honestly feels light and easy to wear (unless you have bladder issues πŸ€ͺ).

Why a bodysuit when a regular sleeveless top can actually kill this look? Because of its fit, it will hug your body showing your figure and hide your flabs so when paired with sexy trousers, it’s a perfect fit!

H&M Bodysuit

This is my first outfit (part of my OOTD) this year. It came as a big surprise for me last year when I first wore an H&M bodysuit while on a vacation; and now I am officially wearing it at the mall.

Lace Tuxedo Trousers

So this is another surprise for me this year. I love the fit so much for it makes my legs look longer and slimmer. The design adds contrast to the plain black. One thing I don’t like about it is its zipper on the side. Good thing there’s a strip detail that makes this tuxedo the perfect outfit for a chubby gal like me.

Jacquard Trousers

This jacquard is quite hard and rough with floral prints. It is high waisted so it is perfect to pair with a tube or just nothing πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‰ Both trousers are okay to wear but it depends on the top you plan to pair it with and the place where you want to go. Because this damn metallic jacquard feels so hot and thick on the legs. I had a hard time walking. Good thing the zipper is in the middle, easy to pee! πŸ˜†

Well you may haven’t seen it much yet since I haven’t worn MOST OF THEM yet but a pair of suits & pants are already starting to rule my closet. This is just one of the pairs I’ve been looking forward to wear.

Koket Bracelet, MAC x Patrick Starrr Makeup Products (now out of stock), Kat Von D Vegan Eyeshadow Palette
Kat Von D Vegan Eyeshadow Palette

If I will define this palette in 3 words. These are : pigmented, blendable and amazing!

MAC X Patrick Starrr Collection is underrated. I love these products so much, especially the packaging and formula. For some reason, aside from the fact that I am supporting Patrick Starrr, I love how perfect they are for Asians.

L’occitane Almond Milk Body Cream

It firms and smoothens the body’s skin to delay aging and sagging. I love its smell and how fast the skin absorbs it. It turns into a dry satin form after a few minutes of application. The smell is heavenly and it doesn’t leave the skin feeling sticky. It also tones the skin especially the tummy, thighs and arms. Best repurchase ever!

Fenty Mini Body Lava

The best way for body to glow, highlight and look bright without the need of putting too much effort. It feels sticky at first and that is why the L’occitane Almond Body Cream helps a lot in maintaining the moisture more than a day.

Vinyl Shoes by Zara
Hair bun by Tokyo Posh with braids and mini crown. Nice right?
Lancome Renergie Multi Lift Gel-In Lotion

It looks expensive in some point but with its size and quality, I find it just right for its price. Amazing product! It has a light scent and easy-to-absorb gel. Skin feels fresh and matte after every application.

This next suggestions I have are from the Sephora sale and samples I got.

Christophe Robin Hair Scrub, Fresh Sugar Lip Balm

They help me maintain my lips moisturized and my scalp healthier and less itchy/dry.

My scalp was dry and itchy; with wounds for the whole year last 2019. These products help me have healthier scalp and hair; so now I am finally confident to show my hair without any extensions on.

Caudalie Lip Balm

This is far from what FRESH lip balm can do for my lips but for its price (P300 more or less), I believe it’s okay. It doesn’t really melt fast and its scent is not strong. It can condition lips but not enough to prep it for matte and liquid lipsticks. Or even this metallic one from Fenty.

This is just one of the 3 lipsticks I love to use from Fenty Frosted Metal Lipsticks.

Grey, Blue, Bronzer

A limited edition of a creamy metallic lipstick with a fresh frosted finish. Though it looks creamy and satin-like, the frost finish requires hydrated lips before application.

Multicolored Padded Headband

Look like a queen without the need of a crown with this padded headband. You gotta love the details and lightweight of this hair accessory.

MAC Bling Thing in the shade “Love in a Bubble” can be worn as it is without the need of anything underneath. Though again it requires lip hydration and moisture, it looks frosted (with reflective formula) and metallic (with glitters) even when worn alone. MAC Lip Color Bling Thing formula leaves your lips dry and sticky but it stays longer with just a few sip on your drinks or a minute of kissing, just don’t eat! πŸ˜‰

Sequin Crop Top

I love how comfy and lightweight it is. It may look heavy and uncomfy but it’s the complete opposite.

Fab Nails faux nails

Look fab and classy with faux nails in an instant.

Last year, I became more open into trying new makeup brands like Pat McGrath and I bought another one from Dior.

Pat McGrath is known to have pigmented, long lasting and buildable formulas. Aside from the purple look from above, here are the looks I made from this palette.

Paired with a BLK limited edition matte lipstick

Anne Curtis’ limited edition matte lipsticks with nude and red shade. I believe they repackage them to make the lipsticks a regular. The formula is surprisingly hydrating yet long lasting.

Of course this gold look from Pat McGrath too.

MAC Retro Matte Retrochrome

It is a medium dark brown with a metallic matte finish. Its formula is lightweight that is non drying and looks matte metallic. I love this formula so much! πŸ₯°

Drape Dress

I always thought that mini or pencil skirts will make me look bigger and wider. But for some reason, a drape dress (though risky) looks good on me. Maybe it’s the dress’ ability to hide flabs or its the shortness of the dress that made everything look sexier. But seriously, this is one of the best risks I took last year. It shows my curves really well. Thanks hubby!

I love you!
Dior Lip Tattoo

It stains lips with at least 10-hour natural looking color that has a weightless finish. I love its lightweight, long lasting color and transferproof formula. It makes you feel like your lips are bare with a minty feeling.

Fenty Beauty Metallic Powder Set

You only need a few to create these looks. They are very pigmented, long lasting, matte metallic and doesn’t fall out. Perfect Riri!

The pigment says hi πŸ™Œ

It can also look lighter when needed. Buildable yes!
Blendable? Yes!
H&M x Love Stories Intimates

This is a real swimsuit though but its belt shows my curves and the print hides my flabs. Yassss!

Belts & Sneakers

Belts highlight your curves and add oomph on your look. Sneakers (when worn the right way) make you look hip and cool.

Leather Flats

This is the first time I bought leather flats. Thankful to my husband who pushed me to have one. Though heavy, it feels comfy and easy to pair with pants.

Shoulder Bags

Last year, I learned to buy small bags where all my things can fit in. I’m not into big bags lately and for some reason, I am prioritizing uniqueness and style more now. As long as my husband approves, I’m okay with it too.

So there you go. Most of them are purchases I had last year and some repurchased items too. I hope you also learn to risk, try new things and find yourself in the process. These are only suggestions and advices, not for you to copy exactly and force to yourself. Be you, after all no one will love you more as you do! Have a blessed 2020 everyone!

All brands and products mentioned on this post are not sponsored. I’m currently having a #MissInformationShares giveaway and whoever follows my blog and comments on this post (within the Philippines ONLY) may win a #CoffeeBeanAndTeaLeafPH bamboo ivory tumbler, pouch and beauty samples.
